Description:
We are looking for a detail-oriented freelancer to upload lighting products to our Shopify store. The ideal candidate will be responsible for listing products via CSV import or any other efficient method they deem fit.
Key Responsibilities:
Upload lighting products to our Shopify store using CSV import or manual entry.
Utilise a provided media bank containing images, videos, and technical specifications for each product listing.
Rewrite product descriptions based on supplier-provided content to ensure originality and improve SEO.
Accurately set product pricing by calculating the cost of price (Retail Price - Trade Price + Shipping Fee).
Ensure correct categorisation, tagging, and formatting of product listings.
Assign products to the correct collections/categories within Shopify (e.g., LED lighting, chandeliers, commercial lighting).
Tag products appropriately for easy navigation and filtering.
If applicable, correctly input Shopify metafields such as wattage, colour temperature, and material.
Manage product variants where applicable.
Requirements:
Experience with Shopify product listing and CSV imports.
Strong attention to detail and ability to reword content effectively.
Basic knowledge of pricing calculations.
Understanding of SEO best practices for product descriptions.
Ability to organise products efficiently using categories, tags, and metafields.
