Product Listing Specialist for Shopify Store - Home Decor Niche
Budget: $2 – $8 CAD
Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Product Listing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching products on Alibaba and creating compelling, SEO-optimized product listings for our Shopify store in the Home Decor niche. This is a part-time position requiring a commitment of 2 hours per day, 5 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
*Product Research:
- Search Alibaba for unique and high-quality products in the Home Decor category.
- Identify products that align with our brand and customer preferences.
*Shopify Product Listing Creation:
- Write engaging and descriptive product titles that capture the essence of the product.
- Craft detailed and persuasive product descriptions that highlight key features, benefits, and uses.
- Upload high-resolution images that effectively showcase the product.
- Set up product organizations including categories, collections, and tags.
- Configure product variants (such as size, color, etc.) as needed.
- Optimize product listings for SEO to ensure maximum visibility and searchability.
*Product Linking & Documentation:
- Create and maintain a spreadsheet that links each Shopify product listing to the corresponding Alibaba product link.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in product information across both platforms.
*Quality Control:
- Ensure that all product listings are unique and avoid any duplication within the store.
- Perform regular checks to maintain the quality and accuracy of the listings.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in product research and listing creation, particularly within Shopify.
- Strong understanding of SEO best practices for product listings.
- Familiarity with Alibaba and ability to identify quality products.
- High attention to detail and ability to avoid duplicate listings.
- Ability to complete 25-30 product listings per hour.
- Competence in using AI tools to expedite tasks is allowed and encouraged.
- Excellent written communication skills with a focus on clarity and persuasion.
- Reliable internet connection and availability to work 2 hours daily, Monday through Friday.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in the Home Decor niche.
- Proficiency in spreadsheet tools like Google Sheets or Excel for tracking and linking products.
- Basic graphic design skills for image editing (preferred but not required).
