# Store Assistant Job Description
**Title:** Shopify Store Assistant
**Location:** Remote/Onsite on occasion, UAE based
We are a bootstrapping startup building a sports club merchandising store online targeting European countries/clubs. You will be joining a small team of highly motivated individuals working towards launching our store in the first quarter of 2023.
**Job Description:**
We are seeking a self motivated and experienced Shopify Store Assistant to join our startup e-commerce team. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to setup the store, managing and optimising all aspects of our Shopify store, including but not limited to product listings, order fulfilment, customer service, and sales strategy.
This is a long term position, part time initially. Once the store launches this commitment will increase.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Manage and optimise product listings, including writing compelling product descriptions and selecting eye-catching product images
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints through email and chat (Freshdesk)
- Support Print on Demand supplier management
- Process orders and ensure timely and accurate order fulfilment
- Analyse sales data and implement strategies to increase traffic and conversions
- Work with product designers to ensure the quality of the products in store
- General administration duties
**Requirements:**
- Proven experience managing a Shopify store
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Excel
- Experience with email marketing and social media marketing a plus
