Associate Copy Writer

The Associate Copywriter is responsible for writing, proofing, and editing digital product copy to promote the sale of merchandise . Writes branded, innovative, and accurate customer facing copy while adhering to brand standards, ensuring effective copy is in place to achieve business goals.

Job Functions
Curates product descriptions and formulates attributes and features for all products
Assists with edits, writing, and gathering missing information from digital merchandising teams
guides to identify new creative direction
Adheres to all short-term and long-term product/assortment deadlines
Obtains missing information on product based on the requirements of the Product Description Page Style Guide
Verifies accuracy of all features and attributes included but not limited to product information and/or functionalities, while adhering to brand guidelines and legal requirements
Communicates with internal and external partners for the best possible story and product presentation and adjusts copy to meet the needs of the customer, marketing, and management
consumer surveys, and other data regarding marketing of specific and related goods and services to formulate presentation approach
Benchmarks competitors and brands to identify important trends in retail fashion and home merchandise, ensuring our product copy is fresh and exciting
