About the Role
Alcotech Pte. Ltd., a Singapore-based regulatory affairs consultancy, is seeking a qualified and experienced Cosmetic Registration Specialist in the Philippines to manage the regulatory responsibilities for overseas cosmetic products registration in Philippines for Alcotech Pte Ltd.. This role will work closely with our regulatory team to ensure successful market entry and compliance with Philippine FDA guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Secure and maintain a valid License to Operate (LTO) as: Importer/Distributor/Wholesale/Trader
- Submit cosmetic product notifications (CPNs) to Philippine Authorities based on technical documentation provided by Alcotech.
- Ensure full compliance with: FDA Philippines regulations, ASEAN Cosmetic Directive and Ingredient restrictions and product claims regulations
- Review and advise on any necessary documents required.
- Maintain the Product Information File (PIF) in compliance with FDA standards.
- Provide post-notification support including: Renewals, Variations, Adverse event reporting, and Regulatory updates and correspondence with FDA
Minimum Qualifications and Skills
- Must be a Philippine-based professional eligible to hold and maintain an LTO.
- Prior attendance at an FDA licensing seminar
- Strong knowledge of Philippine FDA cosmetic regulations and ASEAN Cosmetic Directive
- Able to provide or coordinate: Foreign Agency Agreements and Certificates of Free Sale
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in: Pharmacy/Chemistry/Public Health/Cosmetic Science/Regulatory Affairs Or a related life science field
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and responsively with Alcotech’s team in Singapore.
- Existing valid LTO as a cosmetic Importer/Distributor/Trader
- Previous representation of foreign cosmetic brands in the Philippines
- Experience with FDA inspection readiness or label claim review
- Familiarity with cosmetic importation documentation and regulatory correspondence
