Technical Procurement & Coordinator (Jakarta Based)

We are seeking a Jakarta-based bilingual Technical Procurement & Coordinator for a small industrial equipment installation project.
The immediate priority is obtaining and coordinating quotations for a custom low-voltage electrical distribution panel, including technical review, workshop fabrication, FAT, delivery, onsite installation and energisation.
You will communicate with panel builders in Jakarta, explain the supplied single-line diagram and selected component list, obtain clear quotations and lead times, and identify what each contractor still needs to proceed.
You must be fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and confident in spoken and written English.
Experience with electrical panels, electrical distribution, industrial procurement, MEP, construction or supplier coordination is desired.
You will be given a BOQ, panel component list, single-line electrical diagram, equipment list and cooling layout. You do not need to be the design engineer, but you must be comfortable reading these documents well enough to explain requirements clearly in Bahasa and identify when a supplier has misunderstood, omitted part of the scope or proposed an unsuitable substitute.
Key responsibilities:
Contact and follow up panel builders, electricians and electrical suppliers as the first priority.
Obtain quotations for panel engineering/shop drawings, fabrication, workshop testing, delivery, installation, testing and energisation.
Check that panel-builder quotations include the agreed protection, metering, monitoring, alarms, control equipment, field terminals and selected components.
Chase quotations, stock availability, lead times and site-survey dates from mechanical, CCTV, networking and logistics suppliers.
Compare all offers against the approved parts list and report omissions or substitutions.
Coordinate supplier and contractor site visits where required.
Maintain a daily tracker in English: contact made, response, quote status, promised date, next action and blocker.
Escalate technical, commercial and purchasing decisions to project management.
