Procurement & Supplier Management Strategy

Job ID: 40103790

Budget: £10 – £15 GBP

We’re building a more structured, scalable procurement and supplier management system, and we’re looking for an experienced supply-chain practitioner to help us design it properly from first principles.

Today, supplier sourcing, onboarding, performance tracking, and renewals rely too heavily on manual judgement and fragmented data. The goal of this engagement is to define a clear operating model that improves supplier performance, reduces risk, and strengthens commercial leverage - without disrupting day-to-day purchasing.

You’ll start by reviewing our current spend data, supplier contracts, and existing workflows. From there, we want practical recommendations on:
• Supplier segmentation and governance
• Performance and risk signals that should be systematically tracked
• How renewals and renegotiations should be triggered and managed

The output should be decisions we can execute, not a strategy deck: what to standardise, what to measure, and how to run supplier management at scale.

We’re looking for someone with hands-on procurement experience who thinks in systems and workflows. Experience with tools like SAP Ariba or Coupa is helpful, but strong methodology and execution matter more.
