Faceless Romance Cover Illustration

I’m preparing to release a new romance-drama and I want the cover art to capture the tenderness of the story without showing the characters’ faces. Think silhouette or back-view figures, soft pastel tones, gentle light—overall a light, hopeful atmosphere that invites readers into the emotion of the book rather than the exact appearance of the protagonists.

Here’s what I need from you:

• A single, high-resolution illustration that works both for a 6x9 paperback front cover and for an ebook thumbnail.
• Layered source file (PSD or AI) so my layout designer can adjust text placement later.
• Full commercial rights transferred on delivery.

Subtle flourishes, textured brushes, or watercolor touches are welcome as long as the final piece remains unmistakably “faceless.” If you usually work in Procreate, Photoshop, or Illustrator that’s perfect; just be sure the final export is print-ready at 300 dpi.

Once we agree on a rough concept I’d like one round of sketches, one round of color refinement, and a final polish. Looking forward to seeing how you translate hope, love, and drama into a clean, evocative image without ever showing a face.
