Epic Fantasy Cover Design -- 2

I’m commissioning a striking cover for book one of my epic-fantasy series. The centerpiece has to be an original character illustration: my heroic protagonist with a twist—brave yet shadowed by an unsettling edge that hints at the story’s darker turns. Outfit the figure in worn armor, weapon ready, and weave shimmering, eye-catching colours through metal, magic runes, or ambient light so the artwork leaps off digital storefronts and bookstore shelves alike.

Once the visual direction is set I’ll supply the exact title, author name, and back-cover copy. The final art must perform at thumbnail size for online retailers while holding crisp detail for a 6" × 9" paperback and Kindle e-book.

Deliverables
• Layered PSD or TIFF (300 DPI, CMYK and RGB versions)
• Print-ready PDF with bleed for full wrap (front, spine, back)
• Flattened JPEG for web display

Acceptance criteria
• Character illustration dominates, showing the twisted hero in armor and weaponry.
• Shimmer/iridescent colour accents remain vivid in both print and digital formats.
• Integrated typography stays legible at small sizes.
