Digital Rendering & Color Development in Procreate (7 Sketches Provided)

I’m looking for an artist experienced with Procreate to render, color, and refine a total of 7 detailed sketches.

The goal is to create expressive, cohesive digital illustrations with strong attention to color, light, texture, and composition.
All work must be completed exclusively in Procreate, maintaining a digital illustration style that feels hand-drawn, textured, and cinematic - not flat or overly digital.

The focus is on color palette exploration, digital rendering, and clear documentation of techniques used in the process.

I will provide all Procreate sketches (ready for further painting and detailing), along with a defined color palette and reference PDF outlining mood, tone, and lighting direction.

Overview of Sketches

Total: 7 sketches

4 sketches: fully rendered, painted, and detailed

Of those 4: 2 will also require color palette testing (warm, cool, mixed)

3 sketches: light or brief coloring only - minimal detailing needed

Tasks:

Color Exploration:

Create 3 color palette variations (warm, cool, mixed) for 2 selected sketches.

Explore lighting and mood variations while keeping palette consistency.

Digital Rendering & Detailing:

Fully render, paint, and shade 4 of the 7 sketches.

Apply expressive textures and maintain cohesive lighting and depth.

Lightly color the remaining 3 sketches with minimal shading — keep them simple and atmospheric.

Process Documentation:

Record the full workflow using Procreate’s built-in timelapse feature.

Write a short technical summary (½–1 page) explaining:

Brushes used

Layering, blending, and lighting techniques

Rendering and color workflow

Final Exports:

.procreate files (with all layers intact)

High-resolution .PNG or .JPEG exports

Procreate timelapse videos

Technical summary/process document (techniques, brushes, and tools used)

Requirements:

Must use Procreate only (no Photoshop or external software).

Maintain a stylized illustrative style — expressive, textured, and cinematic.

Strong understanding of color theory, light, and visual composition.

Must follow the provided color palette and creative direction closely.
