eSAF Thesis Writing & Analysis
Budget: €250 – €750 EUR
I am looking for a process simulation specialist with proven experience in Aspen Plus to support the technical development of a Master’s thesis in the hydrogen and e-fuels field. The project focuses on the production of eSAF through the FT-SPK route, and the main goal is to simulate and compare different electrolyzer technologies within the same plant case, especially alkaline, PEM, and SOEC. Aspen Plus must be used for the simulations.
The thesis already has a defined structure, and this structure must be respected. The final written document must not exceed 50 pages, excluding annexes. An outline/index of the thesis will be provided together with the project description and supporting technical references. The work should be developed in line with the academic requirements of a Master’s thesis, with a clear and rigorous methodology.
The support required is mainly technical and methodological. It includes helping to define the process configuration, build or guide the Aspen Plus simulation of the FT-SPK route, estimate mass and energy balances, compare the electrolyzer options under the same production and product-quality basis, and generate clear technical outputs that can later be used in the thesis. Experience with PtL, hydrogen, Fischer-Tropsch, synthetic fuels, and techno-economic comparison will be highly valued.
This is not intended as simple writing support. I am specifically looking for someone who understands process engineering and can help structure the technical simulation work in a solid and realistic way. More project details, scope, and expectations will be shared during a call.
