I need a seasoned problem-solver who can take a specific quality issue from my manufacturing line and walk it through a full PDCA or 4-D cycle, with the emphasis on elimination of the problem. Once I share the actual defect trend and production data, you will be expected to define the problem crisply, uncover root causes, and build an action plan that is realistic for a shop-floor environment.
Your write-up should show the complete logic flow—Plan, Do, Check, Act (or the 4-D equivalents)—and translate each phase into tasks, owners, timing, and measurable targets that my operators and supervisors can follow without extra interpretation. Use any of the common tools that naturally fit the method (Pareto, fishbone, 5 Why, control charts, SPC, FMEA, etc.); just be sure the final package stands on its own for an internal audit or customer review.
Deliverables:
• A concise PDF or slide deck laying out the PDCA or 4-D analysis from problem statement to verified results
• A supporting spreadsheet with data analysis, charts, and target KPIs
• A one-page implementation checklist for the production team
