Fermentation Techno-Economic Analysis

Job ID: 40158803

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I’m preparing a feasibility package for a new fermentation-based bioprocess and need a clear techno-economic assessment that focuses on two things: up-front capital costs and ongoing operating expenses. You’ll start with the process information I supply—flow diagrams, titer/yield data, equipment lists—and translate it into a transparent cost model.

Key elements I expect:

• A calibrated CapEx estimate that breaks equipment, installation, and facility costs down to line-item level, including your assumptions and scaling factors.
• A detailed OpEx model capturing raw materials, utilities, labor, maintenance, and waste handling, with sensitivity toggles for the main cost drivers.
• A concise written report (≈10 pages) explaining methodology, data sources, and major findings, plus an editable spreadsheet or SuperPro/Aspen model so I can tweak inputs later.

I’ll be on hand to answer process-specific questions and review an interim draft. The work is complete when the model balances, assumptions are documented, and the narrative makes it easy for non-engineers to follow the cost logic.
