Chemical Process P&ID Drafting

Job ID: 40222150

Budget: $30 – $250 CAD

I need a clean, well-structured Process Flow Diagram for an Oil and Gas Manufacturing Company that will be used primarily as a training and instruction aid for operators and new hires. I already have the P&ID sets that will be used as the basis in digital form, so you can start by refining and reorganising that file rather than drawing every symbol from scratch.

The job is straightforward: translate the existing digital schematics into a single, professional-grade PFD with clear tagging, line weights, and legend so it is easy for a trainee to follow. Consistency of instrument symbols, line numbering, and valve identification is critical because this graphic will be embedded directly into our training manuals.

Please work in any mainstream CAD platform you are comfortable with—AutoCAD P&ID, SmartPlant, or even Visio—as long as you can supply both the editable source file and a print-ready PDF at the end. I will provide the current .dwg or .vsdx file and reference notes once the project starts and will be available for quick clarifications on equipment names, flow directions, or missing tag data.

Deliverables
• Updated, fully editable P&ID source file
• High-resolution PDF optimised for A3 print

I’ll review the draft against the original schematic and confirm that all lines, instruments, and valves are represented accurately before final sign-off. Looking forward to seeing your work.
