Chemical Process Cost Sizing

Job ID: 40386700

Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR

I’m preparing a competitive bid and need an experienced process engineer to size a complete chemical process, then translate those sizing figures into reliable cost projections. The sole focus is cost estimation, not scheduling or manpower planning, and I’m specifically interested in two cost buckets:
• Material costs (raw and consumables)
• Equipment costs (major units, auxiliaries, installation factors)

Here’s what I expect:
1. Work from the basic process description and production rate I will supply, calculate key design parameters (flow rates, heat duties, equipment sizes, utilities).
2. Select reasonable equipment types and materials of construction that meet standard design practice.
3. Generate a line-item estimate for each major piece of equipment and the associated bulk materials, with clear assumptions and cited cost indexes (recent CEPCI, vendor quotes, or recognised databases).
4. Summarise everything in a concise Excel model and a short explanatory memo (PDF or Word) that I can insert directly into my bid package.

If you normally model in Aspen Plus/HYSYS, CHEMCAD or similar, that’s ideal—just include exported sizing sheets so I can cross-check. Accuracy within ±25 % is sufficient for this stage; transparent calculations and sources matter more than absolute precision.

Once we agree on the input data, I’d like the first draft in five days, with two quick revision rounds available.
