Bubble Diffuser Aeration Design
Budget: $25 – $50 CAD
I need a technically sound plan to improve water-to-air mass transfer in a tank that will be aerated with an air-fed bubble diffuser. My primary goal is to boost dissolved oxygen, so I’m looking for a specialist who can translate theory into a practical, build-ready concept.
Scope
• Calculate expected oxygen transfer efficiency (OTE) and kLa under my operating depth, airflow rate, and water temperature with a simulator such as ansys fluent or comsol.
• Provide pressure loss in the diffusor and operation pressure.
• Provide a concise memo (and spreadsheet or simple model) showing assumptions, equations, and results so I can tweak the inputs later.
I will supply multiple CAD of our diffusors that need to be tested water as soon as the project starts. Solid experience with diffuser sizing, process aeration, or mass-transfer modeling is essential;
Deliver clear calculations and recommendations, and I’ll handle procurement and installation.
