Vintage Restaurant Flyer Design

I’m putting together a series of restaurant flyers and want them to feel unmistakably vintage—think warm, nostalgic colours, classic typography, and subtle textures that echo an old-school diner menu. The main focus of each piece will be our menu items, so the design needs to give those dishes star billing while still feeling cohesive and easy to read.

Instead of photos, I’d like tasteful illustrations of the food. Hand-drawn or vector-based artwork that matches the retro aesthetic would be ideal; bold outlines and a muted palette usually capture that look well. If you already have an illustrative style that fits the era, feel free to show me a sample.

Deliverables I expect:
• One print-ready flyer (CMYK, 300 dpi) in both A5 and US letter size
• Editable source file (AI, PSD, or layered PDF) so I can update prices later
• Web-optimised JPEG/PNG for social media sharing

Everything should align with the vintage theme: typography, colour scheme, and the placement of menu descriptions beneath each illustration.
