Resize Existing Book Cover to 6x9 IngramSpark Template + Add Barcode (InDesign Only)

Job ID: 40236903

Budget: $10 – $30 AUD

Budget: $20 AUD
Turnaround Required: Within 24 hours
Estimated Time for Experienced Designer: 20–30 minutes

Project Overview

I have an existing professionally designed book cover (currently formatted for A4) and require it resized and correctly formatted to IngramSpark’s 6x9 inch case laminate template (170 pages, spine width 0.625").

This is a simple technical resizing/layout job. No creative redesign is required.

The book is already published and printed. I am now releasing a smaller 6x9 edition through IngramSpark.

Scope of Work

You must:

• Use Adobe InDesign (CC or newer)
• Place my existing front, spine and back cover artwork into the official IngramSpark template
• Adjust layout proportionally to fit the 6x9 trim size
• Ensure correct bleed (as per template)
• Ensure spine text is perfectly centred
• Add supplied ISBN barcode to back cover (bottom right corner, print safe area)
• Ensure barcode matches ISBN: 9781764149907
• Export final file as print-ready PDF suitable for IngramSpark submission

No changes to design styling, colours, fonts, layout hierarchy or artwork are permitted unless technically required for trim adjustment.

Deliverables Required

Final print-ready PDF (meeting IngramSpark specifications)

Packaged InDesign file (INDD + linked assets + fonts if required)

Confirmation that document matches exact template dimensions and bleed settings

Important Requirements

• You must have prior experience preparing files for commercial print or IngramSpark.
• Do not apply if you are unfamiliar with spine alignment and bleed requirements.
• No watermarking, no portfolio usage without written permission.
• Full rights transfer upon payment.
• Milestone will be released only after final file passes IngramSpark upload validation.

Timeline

This should take an experienced designer approximately 20–30 minutes.
Delivery required within 24 hours of accepting the project.

This is a straightforward technical formatting task, not a creative design job.

If you understand the scope and can complete it accurately and quickly, apply with confirmation of your InDesign experience.
