Publication-Ready Journal Design
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I’ve developed a detailed framework that sets out all of the critical elements for a new journal whose core theme is Graphic design. The content layout is already mapped, but everything still looks very raw. I now need a designer who can translate that framework into a polished, publication-ready product for both print and digital release.
Here’s what I’m looking for:
• A visually engaging cover and cohesive interior page styling that reflects contemporary graphic-design aesthetics.
• Application of my existing content layout, refining typography, grids, margins, and visual hierarchy so the reading experience feels seamless.
• Print-ready files (PDF/X-1a or similar) prepared to my printer’s specifications, plus an accessible digital version (interactive PDF or EPUB) optimised for tablets and desktop viewing.
• Source files—InDesign or Affinity Publisher preferred—organised and packaged with linked assets and fonts for any future updates.
My framework outlines every required section, footer note convention, and recurring graphic element, so you’ll have clear guidance while still having room to bring creative flair. Accuracy in pre-press setup, colour management, and export settings is essential; the finished files must pass print checks on the first run.
