Professional Self-Help Book Layout

I have a fully drafted self-help manuscript sitting in a Word file and now need it transformed into a polished, print-ready interior. The goal is a trade-paperback look that feels as professional as anything you’d pick up in a bookstore.

Here’s what I’m after: clean typography, consistent chapter styling, proper margins and gutters, running heads, page numbers, and all the usual front- and back-matter set up correctly. Because this will go to print, the final file must meet standard press specs (CMYK, embedded fonts, bleeds where necessary). I’m open to your recommendation on the exact trim size; I simply want whatever works best for a self-help title and keeps production costs reasonable.

You’ll work from my Word document, import it into InDesign (or your preferred professional layout tool), and refine it until everything looks balanced and readable.

Deliverables:
• Print-ready PDF of the interior
• Original packaged source file (InDesign or equivalent) so I can make minor tweaks later
