Print-Ready Design for “Eating Air”

My health-focused manuscript, “Eating Air,” now needs to move from Word files to a polished, print-ready book that can go straight to a digital press. The text is complete, yet the interior layout, typography, and cover still need professional attention so they meet every specification my chosen digital printer requires.

Here’s what I’m asking you to handle:

• Interior layout: set up page size, margins, running heads, and a clean, readable style that suits a wellness title.
• Cover design: front, spine, and back—PDF/X-1a with bleed and printer marks.
• Print-ready files: deliver final PDFs that pass pre-flight for digital printing, plus all source files.

I’ll supply the manuscript, images, and any brand elements the moment we start. You make design choices, share proofs, incorporate my feedback, and deliver files the printer can upload without a hitch.

If you’ve steered other non-fiction books through digital printing, especially health or self-help titles, that’s a huge plus. Let me know which software you’ll work in (InDesign, Affinity, etc.) and show a couple of comparable samples.
