Print-Ready Children’s Book Typesetting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a 36-page picture book (cover and dedication included) that already has finished artwork—512 words total. Each spread is currently a single image file; I need every spread split into two separate pages, then fully typeset so each page can go straight to the printer.
Here’s the look I’m after:
• A playful, fun typeface that suits young readers.
• Large, bold text for easy reading.
• Text placement will vary page by page to complement the artwork—sometimes top, sometimes center or bottom—whatever keeps the illustrations breathing.
You’ll handle the page breakdown, choose/lay out the font, and supply press-ready files for all 36 pages plus cover and dedication. Final deliverables must be print-optimised (bleeds, margins, CMYK) and accompanied by the editable source file you work in (PSD, AI or similar).
If you have a strong eye for picture-book typography and know your way around preparing files for offset or digital print, I’d love to work with you.
