A5 Poetry Book Design & Formatting
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP

The manuscript is a 60-page collection of poems that I want printed in A5 size and released through both Lulu and Amazon KDP. Some pieces use a very deliberate layout with generous margins, so the interior file has to respect those spaces exactly; simple reflow won’t work. I’ll supply the finished text in Word, plus a PDF reference that shows how the margin-heavy poems should look.
I have a photograph I’d like to feature on the front cover. It only needs a clean serif title and author overlay, then a solid colour back and spine with blurb & book title. Final artwork must meet each platform’s bleed and colour specifications.
Deliverables
• Print-ready interior PDF (A5, 60 pp) that passes Lulu and KDP pre-press checks
• Print-ready cover PDF (front, back, spine) built around my photo, with serif text overlay
• Source files (InDesign/Affinity or equivalent) so I can update future editions
Once I provide the manuscript, photo, ISBN and blurb, you prepare the layouts, send a proof for my review, and revise until both distributors accept the files.
