Paperback Layout & Typesetting (Includes English & Arabic script)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I have a manuscript of fewer than 100 pages that now needs to be laid out professionally for a 6 × 9-inch paperback. Experience with Arabic script is a must! The goal is to publish the print edition through Kindle Direct Publishing, so the interior file must pass KDP’s print preview without tweaks on my side.
What I will hand over
• The final, edited Word manuscript
• Any chapter‐opening graphics or scene break icons already prepared as high-resolution PNG/SVG (if we decide they help readability)
What you will return
• A print-ready PDF for KDP (300 dpi, embedded fonts, correct margins and bleed)
• The working file (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or similar) so I can make future edits
• A short note outlining the key KDP setup fields you used (paper type, bleed settings, margin widths) for reference
Acceptance criteria
• Text flows cleanly from first to last page with consistent headers, footers, and front-matter pagination
• No widow/orphan issues, awkward breaks, or hyphen ladders
• All fonts are licensed for commercial print and fully embedded
• File passes KDP’s automatic checks and the online previewer
