325-Page Guide Book Typesetting

I have several manuscripts of between 300 & 400 pages that now need to be laid out cleanly in Adobe InDesign. Each manuscript will be considered as a separate project.

If you are selected you’ll receive a set of InDesign style templates; these include all approved fonts, paragraph styles, and hierarchy rules, so the task is to translate those directions faithfully inside InDesign and keep every heading, body paragraph, table, and diagram on spec.

The content is mostly text interspersed with images and maps. Accuracy in aligning columns, keeping figure captions anchored, and avoiding widows, orphans, and bad breaks is essential. I’m looking for a steady rhythm of about 100 finished pages per day so we can keep momentum and review quickly.

Deliverables
• InDesign package with linked assets and fonts embedded as licensed in the templates
• Print-ready PDF that passes pre-flight for CMYK, bleed, and trim settings
• A short change-log noting any template issues or layout decisions that needed interpretation

Interest parties must complete a functional test to demonstrate technical competence to be considered for a project.
