120-Page Educational Book Layout

I have a completed 120-page manuscript that blends informative text with a rich mix of illustrations, photographs, and a few charts and graphs. I now need a polished interior layout that makes the learning flow feel effortless, looks professional in print, and converts cleanly to a fixed-layout PDF for digital distribution.

The core tasks involve:
• Setting up a consistent master page structure (margins, headers, footers, page numbers, running heads) in Adobe InDesign or an equivalent professional tool.
• Placing and styling body copy, pull-quotes, captions, and footnotes so they remain legible alongside imagery without crowding the page.
• Inserting my supplied illustrations, photos, and charts at the right points, applying subtle treatments when needed (e.g., colour correction in Photoshop, vector tweaks in Illustrator) to maintain visual harmony.
• Creating a short front-matter section (title, copyright, table of contents) and a tidy index template at the back.
• Delivering press-ready PDF/X-1a files plus the packaged InDesign folder with fonts and linked assets.

Acceptance criteria
1. All 120 pages pass a pre-flight check with no overset text, missing links, or font issues.
2. Colour space is CMYK throughout, images at 300 dpi minimum.
3. PDF outputs meet my printer’s bleed and trim specs (which I will provide on award).
4. Layout retains consistent baseline grid and typographic hierarchy.
