128-Page Art Catalogue Layout
Budget: £20 – £250 GBP
I’m assembling a 128-page exhibition catalogue and need a skilled layout designer to turn my supplied material into a polished, print-ready file.
Scope
• 120 interior pages share the same structure: one high-resolution painting per page followed by three caption lines. I will provide the images and caption text in clearly organised folders.
• The remaining pages cover the title spread, copyright, colophon and a six-page essay, all supplied as editable text.
• I already have specific typographic and layout preferences.
What I need from you
– Set up master pages, margins and grids that keep the flow consistent to a printers spec..
– Place imagery, style the captions, and typeset the essay so everything feels cohesive.
– Provide a press-ready PDF (CMYK, 3 mm bleed, crop & registration marks) plus a lighter proof PDF for on-screen review.
– Allow for one round of consolidated feedback before final export.
If you usually build in InDesign, great—use any workflow you like as long as the final delivery meets the PDF specs above. A quick sample spread early in the process will help confirm we’re aligned before you batch the remaining pages.
