Non-Fiction Print Book Formatting
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have written a series of 2 books in English (and translated 2 in French) = 4 books. My non-fiction manuscript is ready for the final, crucial step—professional interior layout for both KDP and IngramSpark. I want a clean, Traditional look at the 6 × 9-inch trim size, with classic typography, balanced margins, and proper running heads. I have a professionally designed cover, binder etc. I only need formatting.
The file includes images and illustrations that must stay crisp in CMYK, a handful of tables and charts that need consistent styling, plus footnotes/endnotes that must flow naturally without breaking pagination. I also require a fully linked Table of Contents and a separate Table of Boxes for quick reference.
Please apply whatever tools you prefer—Adobe InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or equivalent—as long as the result meets each platform’s print-ready specifications (bleeds, embedded fonts, and correct color profiles).
Deliverables
• Press-ready PDFs for KDP and IngramSpark
• Native working file (INDD or AFPUB)
• Font package and any placed graphics
• Proof that each PDF passes both platforms’ pre-flight checks
I’ll supply the final edited Word document, all images at 300 dpi, and style notes the moment we start. Once I approve a first layout pass, I’ll return any minor corrections for a single round of revisions before we lock the files.
If you have experience navigating both KDP and IngramSpark requirements, this should be straightforward—let’s get this book print-perfect.
