Non-Fiction Book Interior Formatting
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
My non-fiction manuscript is ready for its next step—professional interior layout that meets IngramSpark’s print requirements. The content is almost entirely text, so clean hierarchy, consistent typography, and a reader-friendly flow are crucial.
I will supply the final edited Word document along with any front- and back-matter you need. Your job is to transform it into a press-ready PDF (and, if possible, an ePub that mirrors the print layout) that sails through IngramSpark’s pre-flight check without a single flag. Adobe InDesign, Vellum, or comparable professional tools are welcome; what matters most is a polished result that honours industry standards for margins, headers, footers, running heads, page numbering, and a hyper-linked table of contents.
Deliverables
• Print-ready PDF formatted to the exact trim size and bleed settings I provide
• Source files so I can make future tweaks
• Optional: matched ePub optimised for reflowable devices
Acceptance criteria
• Passes IngramSpark’s file validation on the first upload
• Consistent styles for headings, paragraphs, quotes, and lists
• No orphan or widowed lines across chapters
• Accurate, clickable table of contents in both PDF and ePub (if produced)
If you have formatted text-heavy titles for IngramSpark before, I’d love to see a sample. Let’s get this book press-ready.
