Newsletter Redesign & InDesign Template
Budget: $25 – $50 USD
I oversee communications for The Albuquerque Astronomical Society and I’m ready to give our monthly newsletter, the Sidereal Times (https://taas.org/sidereal-times/), a fresh look. What I need is a complete visual overhaul of the publication plus an Adobe InDesign template that the team and I can update issue after issue.

Here’s the brief:
• Design direction
Give the layout an engaging, astronomy-centric feel while still reflecting our established identity. I will supply the exact TAAS logo colors so you can build the palette around them; the rest of the visual language—typefaces, graphic accents, grid system—is open for your creative recommendations.
• Deliverables
1. A fully designed sample issue (you can work with placeholder copy pulled from our site).
2. An InDesign template set up with master pages, paragraph/character/object styles, and linked assets clearly labeled and organized.
3. A packaged folder containing the .indd file, fonts (licensed or free), and any graphics or style-guides you create.
• Workflow
I’ll provide logo files, color codes, and past PDF issues for reference. A quick thumbnail/rough layout review first is ideal, followed by two rounds of revisions on the full design before you build the final template.
• Final use
We publish both as an interactive PDF and a press-ready file, so please optimise exports for on-screen reading and high-resolution print.
