National News Page Layout Design

Job ID: 39709676

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I need a clean, visually balanced layout for a single printed newspaper page that will carry a national-news article. The spread must feel like a classic broadsheet—credible, orderly—yet still have enough visual interest to draw in readers.

Content & structure
• One main headline, sub-headline where it makes sense, and flowing body text that can accommodate about 800–1,000 words.
• Space for two or three images or photos (hi-res, CMYK) plus one small graphic or chart that complements the story.
• Consistent typography hierarchy, clear column grid, proper gutters and margins so the piece is press-ready.

What I will supply
– Final copy for the headline and article
– Caption text and rough image placements
– Any source photos or the raw chart data

What I expect back
1. Print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300 dpi, with 3 mm bleed)
2. Editable source file (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or Illustrator—use whichever you prefer)
3. A quick mock-up JPG for approval before final export

The page is strictly news-driven, so avoid advertorial styling; think sober Washington-Post or NY-Times aesthetic. If you have recent newspaper or magazine layout samples, send a link so I can gauge fit quickly.
