Multi-Platform Print Cover Formatting
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I already have the full cover design—front, spine, and back—finalised. What I need now is an experienced book-cover formatter who can turn that artwork into press-ready files for both paperback and hardcover editions on three print-on-demand platforms: Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, and Barnes & Noble Press.
Because the trim sizes, spine widths, and bleed allowances vary by platform, I’m looking for expert guidance on the exact dimensions we should use. The book is non-fiction, and I can supply the design files in whatever native format you prefer (AI, PSD, TIFF, etc.), along with page count and paper stock details so you can calculate the spine thickness accurately.
Deliverables
• One print-ready PDF for each combination of cover type and platform (6 files total)
• Colour profile set to CMYK, 300 DPI, with all fonts embedded
• Files must pass each platform’s pre-press check on the first submission
Please let me know your turn-around time, the software you’ll use CANVA is preferred so I can keep files.
