Modern Cookbook Layout Design

Job ID: 40157474

Budget: $250 – $750 USD

I need an experienced, detail-oriented designer to take my long-form cookbook manuscript and shape it into a polished, modern layout that reads with the clarity of a non-fiction reference. Precision matters: every recipe, tip box, and photo placement must follow a consistent grid so the finished pages look clean and inviting.

Here’s what I expect:
• A modern visual style—think generous white space, crisp typography, and contemporary color accents that still let food photography shine.
• Careful hierarchy for headings, sub-heads, ingredient lists, and method steps so readers can absorb information quickly.
• Master pages, paragraph/character styles, and a well-structured InDesign file (or equivalent pro layout tool) to keep the project organized for future updates.
• Two rounds of feedback incorporated promptly, with clear communication at each stage.
• Final deliverables: editable source file, print-ready PDF (CMYK, bleed, crop marks), and an optimized interactive PDF for digital distribution.

If you have a portfolio that shows past cookbook or other long-form non-fiction layout work in a modern style, I’d love to see it. Let’s create a cookbook that looks as good as the recipes taste.
