Minimalist Self-Help Cover Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a polished, print-ready cover for my 254-page non-fiction self-help book. The project is strictly for the paperback edition that will go through both Amazon KDP and IngramSpark, so every file has to hit their respective templates the first time—bleed, spine width, safe zones, resolution, the works.
My visual direction is minimalist: clean typography, uncluttered layout, plenty of breathing room. I’m open to subtle graphic accents or a restrained colour pop if it helps the design stand out, but the overall feel should remain calm and confident rather than loud.
You’ll receive:
• Title, subtitle, author name, and back-cover copy in a finalised document.
• The exact trim size and the template files downloaded from each platform.
Deliverables I’m expecting:
• Front, spine and back combined in a single print-ready PDF for KDP.
• A second PDF adjusted for IngramSpark’s template.
• High-resolution JPEG/PNG of the front cover for online thumbnails.
• Source file (PSD, AI or InDesign) so small tweaks can be made later if needed.
I’ll approve the design when it passes both platforms’ pre-flight checks without error and the visual matches the minimalist brief. If that sounds straightforward to you and you have a track record of getting covers accepted on the first submission, I’d love to see your portfolio and estimated turnaround time.
