Magazine Layout Designer (Adobe InDesign) – Decoration Magazine – Offshore Freelancer

Project Description

I am a magazine publisher looking for an experienced offshore layout designer to create the full layout of an upcoming print decoration magazine.

This project is strictly editorial layout (not graphic design creation from scratch).
The artistic direction, content, images and references will be provided.

I am looking for a reliable, precise and fast executor, used to working on print magazines.

Project Scope

Full layout of one magazine issue

Approx. 80–100 pages

Software: Adobe InDesign (mandatory)

Output: Print-ready PDF (CMYK, bleed, margins respected)

Working files (.indd + packaged links) must be delivered

What Will Be Provided

Final texts (Word / Google Docs)

Images (photos, illustrations)

Existing magazine references / visual guidelines

Clear page structure (cover, TOC, features, columns, ads, etc.)

In some cases: example pages or previous issues for reference

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

Proven experience in magazine or catalogue layout

Excellent mastery of Adobe InDesign

Understanding of print constraints (bleeds, margins, CMYK, typography)

Ability to strictly follow a brief

Ability to reproduce a clean, elegant, editorial style

Important:

This is not a beginner project

This is not a logo or branding project

This is not Canva or template-based work

Working Conditions

Offshore freelancers only (Asia, Eastern Europe, Africa, South America welcome)

Clear communication in simple English

Respect of deadlines is critical

Corrections expected (normal editorial workflow)

Budget

Low-cost offshore budget
