Kindergarten Photo Grid Template
Budget: $30 – $250 AUD
I’m preparing annual class photos for a few kindergartens and need a reusable grid template that I can fill myself in Adobe Photoshop. The layout I’m after is a clean set of rows and columns with equal spacing—enough room for up to 27 portraits—ready to print at 5 × 7 in and 8 × 10 in.
The kindergarten name and year should sit prominently at the top, and I’d like a text placeholder under each portrait so I can add children’s names when desired (if space allows). Because privacy rules prevent outsourcing, every photo slot must be a Smart Object (or an equally simple drag-and-drop solution) so I can replace images quickly inside my own PS subscription. If there’s a faster, low-cost tool that achieves the same ease of use, feel free to suggest it, but an editable PSD remains essential.
Deliverables
• Two fully editable PSD files—one at 5 × 7 in, one at 8 × 10 in—each with 27 Smart Object layers arranged in equal-spaced rows and columns.
• Clearly named layers for background, kindergarten name/year, portrait placeholders, and student-name text fields.
• A concise guide (PDF or short screen-capture link) showing how to swap portraits and edit text.
The project is complete when I can open the file, drop in sample photos, update the names, and export print-ready images with perfect alignment.
