Islamic Book Graphic Designer & Print Preparer
Budget: $8 – $15 USD
Long-term Production Graphic Designer (book layout & print prep) for an independent Islamic publishing project. Monthly retainer, 20-30h/week, 3-month trial then renewable.
Work:
- Book interior layout (children's books, nashids, adult spirituality) using provided AI illustrations (Midjourney/Ideogram) - composition and layout, NOT illustration
- Book covers (front+spine+back) for Gelato POD, Printify, Lulu, Amazon KDP
- Greeting cards for Eid and Ramadan
- Print-ready file prep: bleed, CMYK, embedded fonts, ICC profiles
Requirements:
- Strong book layout skills (InDesign, Affinity Publisher or equivalent)
- Print-ready experience for at least 2 of: Gelato, Printify, Lulu, Amazon KDP
- Professional English, 4-6h/day Mon-Fri
Nice to have: Arabic typography, right-to-left layout, familiarity with Islamic visual codes, French.
Selection: portfolio review, paid test (33 USD, 2 deliverables, 72h), video interview, NDA signature.
