Intuitive InDesign Template Redesign
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I have a 33-page Adobe InDesign A4 template that needs a full tidy-up so my team can drop Word content in without fighting the file. The goal is twofold: first, rebuild the document so every element is clearly named, logically grouped and easy to find; second, make sure everything scales perfectly to A5 for a print-ready variant.
Here is what I need from you:
• Recreate the file from the ground up, streamlining the master pages, paragraph & character styles, grids and guides so the layout feels intentional rather than patched together.
• Rename and regroup layers with clear, meaningful labels. I’m open to your suggestion on structure—page-based, element-based or functional—whichever makes day-to-day edits quickest.
• Introduce updated design touches where something obvious is missing or clunky while keeping the overall look recognisable.
• Build a style sheet system that applies custom styles for the various content sections we import from Word (headings, sub-headings, body, pull quotes, footers, etc.) so everything lands formatted correctly.
• Create an alternate layout or liquid page rules so the same file art-boards cleanly down to A5 without manual tinkering.
Deliverables: the rebuilt InDesign package (A4 + A5 layouts), a quick read-me explaining the layer logic and style usage, and a test page that proves a Word paste flows exactly as intended.
