InDesign Layout for Educational Book
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
I’m supplying the full manuscript as a Word file and need it transformed into a polished, publication-ready book in Adobe InDesign. The content is educational, so clarity and structure are critical.
My preferred look is a mixed layout with sidebars, boxed texts, and other pull-out elements that break up the main narrative without distracting from it. The manuscript includes a number of images and diagrams; these must be placed thoughtfully, captioned, and handled at print-quality resolution.
You’ll import the text, establish master pages, and create consistent paragraph and character styles for headings, body copy, captions, and call-outs. Please build a clean hierarchy, apply running headers/footers, automatic page numbering, and generate a dynamic table of contents.
Deliverables:
• Packaged InDesign file with all linked assets
• Print-ready PDF (CMYK, crop marks, bleed)
• Source images and diagrams correctly embedded or linked
Acceptance criteria:
• Layout follows the mixed-style brief and looks cohesive throughout
• All images and diagrams are sharp, correctly placed, and captioned
• No overset text, style overrides, or broken links
• Final files open without warnings and are ready for print or digital distribution
