Format Book of Short Stories & Lyrics for Paperback
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I have a completed collection of short stories—some of them include my original song lyrics—sitting in Google Docs, and I’m ready to turn it into a 6 × 9-inch paperback for Amazon KDP. The text should read in clean, classic Times New Roman, with lyric passages set so they look like lyrics, not run-on prose.
I need the interior laid out to Amazon’s print-ready standards, including front and back matter, table of contents, page numbers, running headers, and the correct margins and bleed. By 17 February 2026 I’d like to hold a print-ready PDF and the fully editable source file you used (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or a well-styled Word doc—whichever tool you prefer).
Deliverables
• Print-ready PDF for a 6 × 9-inch paperback that passes KDP preview on the first try
• Editable source file reflecting all design choices
• A short hand-off note outlining fonts, styles, and any embedded assets so I can update future editions myself
