Design 85-Page Photo Exhibition Magazine
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m putting together an 85-page, perfect-bound magazine that celebrates a series of curated photo exhibitions aimed squarely at fellow photography enthusiasts. All images, captions, and basic copy are ready; what I need now is a designer who can translate that raw material into a visually striking, reader-friendly publication.
The job covers everything from an arresting front cover through to the back page: page architecture, consistent typography, graceful white space, and thoughtful pacing of image sequences so each photograph is allowed to breathe. A contents page, exhibition intro spreads, and end-matter are also part of the scope. I work primarily in Adobe InDesign, so supplying packaged files plus a press-ready PDF will keep the hand-off smooth.
If you decide to bid, focus on the experience you’ve had designing photography or art titles; attach a couple of spreads that show how you handle large imagery and minimal text. No lengthy proposals needed—proof that you’ve tackled similar projects is what will make the difference here.
Deliverables upon sign-off:
• Editable InDesign package (all links & fonts)
• Print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300 dpi, bleed & trim)
• Web-optimised PDF for digital distribution
I’m ready to get started as soon as I find the right creative partner, and I’m happy to answer any technical questions you might have along the way.
