Book PDF Layout Redesign

I already have my entire book in PDF form; the content is final, but the current layout feels plain and a bit amateur. The goal is to overhaul its layout and structure so the pages read like a professionally typeset, classic-and-elegant hard-cover edition.

Key points you should know
• The brief focuses on layout and structure—graphics, images, and text are staying as-is, but they need to be placed with better hierarchy, spacing, and flow.
• The visual direction is unmistakably classic and elegant: think generous margins, refined paragraph styles, attractive running headers/footers, and balanced white space rather than modern minimalism or bold, vibrant graphics.
• All page elements must remain in the same sequence and pagination where possible so existing citations and the index stay accurate.

Preferred workflow
I’m happy for you to rebuild the file in Adobe InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or another professional layout tool, then export a press-ready PDF (CMYK, embedded fonts) plus a web-friendly PDF.
