Book Layout Redesign

I have a completed manuscript already compiled as a single PDF, but its current look and page size won’t work for the printed edition I’m preparing. I need the entire interior completely re-laid out for a 5" × 8" trim, not just nudged around—typography, margins, headers, footers, chapter openings, image placement, everything should receive a fresh, cohesive design that fits professional print standards (bleed, safe areas, embedded fonts, CMYK images at 300 dpi).

You’ll begin with the existing PDF as reference, import or re-set the text in InDesign (or an equivalent professional layout tool), style it consistently, and adjust any figures or illustrations so they reproduce crisply at the smaller size. Where needed, please suggest better font pairings, line spacing, and paragraph settings to improve readability while keeping page count efficient.

Deliverables
• Print-ready PDF for a 5" × 8" paperback (including bleeds and crop marks).
• Source files with linked images and fonts packaged.
