Bespoke Grad Event Invite Design
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’d like your help turning my rough concept for a graduation-weekend invitation into a vibrant, 5–6-page booklet. The tone is celebratory and a little unexpected, almost like a mini coffee-table book that guests will want to keep.
Cover
Think book jacket: full bleed colour, the university logo and the event’s title + date as the only text elements on the front. No large hero photo here—just strong graphic treatment in the official school colours.
Inside pages
Pages 2-4 will carry the weekend schedule. Short, punchy bullet points are the clearest way to lay out each day’s events, so let’s build the typographic hierarchy around that. I’ll supply copy, and you can add small icons or colour blocks to keep it dynamic.
Imagery
I’m after a mixed feel—some formal shots (robe-and-cap moments, campus landmarks) blended with candid, casual photos. You’re welcome to source high-quality stock where needed; I’ll send my own selection as well.
Back page
A photo collage or single striking image, plus a brief closing line and contact info, will finish things off.
Assets I’ll provide
• University logo (vector)
• Brand colour specs
• Copy for each page
• Personal and stock photos (with usage rights)
What I need from you
• Print-ready PDF (CMYK, 300 dpi, standard bleed)
• Editable source file (InDesign or Illustrator preferred)
• Web-optimised PDF for email distribution
I can sketch a layout and forward it as a PDF to jump-start the design. Let me know if the scope feels clear and what timeline you’d need to deliver final files.
