Security patches - PrestaShop 1.6

I have few websites running PrestaShop 1.6. and we are having constant break-ins from hackers setting up phising sites. We are constantly getting warning from domain registrars etc., sowe need to do something. We have already updated to last version 1.6.1.24 and we are wondering if there is something more we can do.
