Hello.
I'm interested in developing a module.
Subscription module with recurring payment.
We have the PS Version 1.7.6.3 and the theme we use is warehouse, but we also use "warehousechild" for some other stuff. That works as a child theme, as the name says.
We use Redsys Spain Payment Module and PayPal CheckOut for the payments, with this said...
However I've got a couple of questions.
1- If we add the membership to one product can the customer that buys the product be automatically added to a group that we created before? As soon as the product with the membership is purchased?.
2- If the subscription is cancelled, can the customer be automatically erased for that group of clients?
I'm gonna use a case:
1) You created a membership plan from your third-party module, for example, the Gold plan which will be valid for 1 year. That plan is gonna be a product that you will be able to buy at our store.
2) So whenever a customer buys a membership plan he will automatically add to the plan customer group.
3) When a customer purchases the membership plan then he will get all the benefits of the plan.
4) And we want that the customer membership gets renewed automatically and the payment should also be deducted automatically from the customer account after a year.
5) If the customer does not want to renew or cancel the membership plan so the customer should automatically be removed once the subscription period has been finished and not before.
Only the membership plan should be renewed automatically not all products.
