PrestaShop Theme Development for Coffee Store

Custom PrestaShop 9.x Theme – Premium Coffee E-Commerce Store

We are looking for an experienced PrestaShop theme developer to create a custom, sales-optimized theme for our premium coffee accessories store: https://kaffee-produkte.ch

IMPORTANT: This project requires a professional, production-ready result. We have no patience for hacky workarounds, half-finished templates, or modified default themes sold as "custom." If you cannot deliver a polished, fully functional theme that installs cleanly out of the box — please do not apply. Only experienced PrestaShop developers with a proven track record should submit a proposal.

We also prefer developers who are fluent in English and available for voice/video calls during the project for design reviews, feedback rounds, and progress updates.

Project Scope:

• Design and develop a fully custom PrestaShop 9.x theme (Hummingbird-based or standalone)
• The theme must be deliverable as a ready-to-install ZIP file via Design > Theme & Logo in PrestaShop 9.x — no manual server-side setup
• Modern, premium look & feel tailored to the coffee/barista niche — must NOT look like a default or generic theme
• Fully optimized for conversions: clear CTAs, trust signals, streamlined product pages, smooth checkout flow
• Our existing logo must be retained and elegantly integrated into the design
• Mobile-first, responsive design across all devices
• Fast loading, SEO-friendly, accessible

Design Direction:

• Clean, luxurious aesthetic that reflects premium coffee culture
• Warm color palette (dark tones, golds, coffee browns) — open to creative proposals
• High-quality typography and generous whitespace
• Visually engaging homepage with featured products, categories, and brand storytelling
• Product pages designed to sell: prominent images, clear pricing, easy add-to-cart

Technical Requirements:

• Compatible with PrestaShop 9.x (9.0 / 9.1+)
• Installable as a ZIP via the back office — this is a hard requirement
• Clean, maintainable code (Bootstrap 5, SCSS, no jQuery dependency in the theme)
• Compatible with standard PrestaShop modules (cart, checkout, search, filters)
• Multi-language ready (German, French, English at minimum)

What We Need From You:

• Portfolio or examples of previous PrestaShop themes you have built
• Proven experience with PrestaShop 9.x and/or Hummingbird theme architecture
• A brief concept or moodboard before development begins
• The final deliverable as a ZIP file that installs cleanly on a fresh PrestaShop 9.x instance
• Short documentation on how to configure the theme (logo placement, color options, etc.)
• Availability for voice/video calls (English) for design reviews and progress check-ins
