Modification and Enhancement of PrestaShop Product Delivery Module
Budget: €100 – €300 EUR
Hello,
I am seeking a skilled programmer to modify and improve an existing module in my PrestaShop store. The current module calculates the product delivery date with a countdown timer, displayed as "Order within 15h 11m 32s and receive it this Thursday." I would like to implement several changes and improvements to this module, as outlined below:
- Allow text translations to be managed within the back-office module configuration.
- Display the delivery date for each product when added to the shopping cart, along with an explanation that the overall delivery date for the order will be the latest delivery date among all the products in the cart.
- Adjust delivery dates for products from different warehouses (A1, E1, E2, E3, etc.) to account for a 1-day delay when combining products from multiple warehouses. Maybe a new field is required in the database, the module has his own tables.
- Show the estimated delivery date for the entire order alongside each available shipping option, using the delivery date calculated in point 1.
- Display the estimated delivery date to the customer on the order confirmation page on the website.
- Save the delivery date with the order in the database.
- Enable all configurations for days, warehouses, text, etc., to be managed within the back-office.
- Add a conditional statement in the module code that allows us to see the day and date calculations for the delivery date when logged in with one of our emails as a customer, for debugging purposes.
Please provide a quote and estimated completion time for this project. I look forward to discussing this opportunity further and working with you to improve our store's customer experience. We are looking for a skilled PrestaShop developer to complete these enhancements with an emphasis on code quality, performance, and user experience. And in order to apply and confirm that you have read all this requeriments, please start you apply letter with Hello Javier, so I´ll know quicly who has read this.
Best regards,
