Fix issue with prestashop site

We are looking for an experienced full stack developer to fix an issue on our prestashop site.
Overall the site works fine, but after a customer places an order, he won´t be able to add items to the cart for a second order. A warning pop-up window indicates that there are not enough products in stock to add, even if this is not correct because there are stock available and our site is set to accept orders for products that are not in stock.
If the customer is logged-in when he places the first order, he will be able to add items to the cart only after he logs out, so it seems to be something related with cache, but I don´t have confirmation of this yet.
