Fix a bug on a prestashop module

I need to fix a bug on a module of my prestashop website, so I am searching prestashop experts to fix it.
I explain what I need to do:
we can call my website site1
installed we have a module that change the orders status and receive the tracking numbers from another prestashop website
our website site1 send the orders to the supplier website, we can call it site2
Both sites use the same order code.
For example site1 generate an order code YSBKRCVXW and send this order to site2 that will create the supplier order with the same code YSBKRCVXW
then supplier site2 update the order status and tracking numbers on the order YSBKRCVXW and the module installed on site1 get the tracking numbers and order status from site2
The problem is that this module is changing the status to "shipped" for all the orders on site1 even if they don't exist on site2
